Upcoming Classes

Sign up now for one of our upcoming classes.  Participants are encouraged to "get their hands dirty" and create a project of their own to take home.  Private classes are also available for groups of five or more and can be held either at the shop or a location of your choice.  It is a great program for garden clubs, Master Gardeners or just a group of friends.  Sign ups are recommended for all classes.  For more information, or to reserve a space contact Aimee at 209.267.5551.

How to Create a Miniature Garden
Class Fee $10.  Kids ages 5+ are free.  
Supplies purchased separately.

Spend a morning in our garden learning how to plan, create and care for a miniature garden of your own.  Participants will receive step by step instruction in creating their own miniature garden.  Class includes potting soil, sand, gravel and rocks to use in your garden.  Containers, miniature garden items and plants are available for purchase during the class.  A great class for all gardeners ages 5+.  For more information, or to sign up contact Aimee at 209.267.5551

Succulent Miniature Gardens - Saturday, August 24th at 10am
Learn how to plant and care for a variety of succulents and sedums in a miniature garden.

A great class for fairy lovers.  Learn tips and tricks to create a fairy garden scene in a large container or your home garden.

Miniature Gardens for the Harvest Season - October 2016
Welcome fall by creating a new miniature garden or updating your current garden using tiny pumpkins, cornstalks and Jack O'Lanterns.

Miniature Gardens for Giving - November 2016
Learn how to create a variety of great gifts including smaller miniature gardens, fairy garden kits or terrariums.  A great way to get ready for the holiday season.

Pesto 101
Saturday, July 16th at 10am
Class Fee $25.  Includes instruction, basil plant and a light lunch
Spend a beautiful summer morning in the garden learning how to make fresh basil pesto.  Aimee will share her recipe as well as a variety of ways to use fresh basil in pasta, panini's and more.  Class includes instruction and a light lunch.  Space is limited.
